Sapa Exploring Hill tribes

Visiting different ethnic groups such as the Tay, the Xa Pho who which cannot be found in other areas of Sapa. Even though they live close to each other, their living standard, their customs and traditions are not the same. Also enjoy beautiful landscape in Ban Ho valley.

Day 1: Sapa - Ban Ho - Thanh Phu - Sin Chai (L, D) 
Met up at your hotel in Sapa by Sapa local guide and driver then transferred to Ban Ho. We will trek through the scenic valley of “Ban Ho”. This is a village of Tay ethnic minority. The Tay preserve a traditional and fairly developed agriculture with cultivation of all kinds of plants including rice, maize and sweet potato as well as seasonable fruit and vegetables. Then we continue walking to Thanh Phu village where your lunch will be provided in a local house. After lunchtime, you head to Sin Chai village. This is a village of of Red Dao people. Dinner and overnight at the village.

Day 2: Sin Chai - Nam Nhiu - My Son - Nam Toong – Sapa (B,L) 
After breakfast, we start our day by walking downhill toward the My Son village which is inhabited by the Xa Pho ethnic minority, one of the smallest group’s ethnic in Northern Vietnam. After one and a half hours walk to the Red Dao village of Nam Toong, we bill stop for lunch.

In the afternoon, we continue our trip towards Ban Ho village where it will be possible to take a swim. Please check your guide’s advice before jumping on the water. Then our vehicle will transfer you back to Sapa from ban Ho. End tour.

Sapa Hard Trek Tour 4 Days 3 Nights begins between 6:00pm-8:30pm with a bus or taxi transfer to the railway station in Hanoi where you will catch the night train to Lao Cai.

DAY 1: LAO CAI STATION - SA PA - LAO CHAI - TA VAN VILLAGE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
 _ You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 5:00am-7:30am. There you will meet bus guide and transfer to Sapa town.
Sapa Destinations: Sapa Hard Trek
_ After having breakfast and a shower, you will leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. You will only need to bring a change of clothing, trekking gear and toiletries for your stay at the village homestay.
_ At around 9:00am you will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H'mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia.  After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life while staying in a local family's cottage

DAY 2: TA VAN - DZANG TA CHAI - BAN HO (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
_ After having breakfast in the village homestay, you will begin your trek to Dzang Ta Chai of the Red Dzao tribe. You can experience the difference between the way of life of the different tribespeople. You will have lunch in the village before you continue your trek through the amazing scenery and to the beautiful waterfall.
_ In the afternoon, you will continue your trip to the Tay tribe village of Ban Ho. You will arrive at a village homestay where you will stay the night with a Tay family and have another authentic dinner

DAY 3: BAN HO - SU PAN - SA PA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
_ After having breakfast in the village homestay, you will trek to Su Pan, the last village you visit on your trip. You will be amongst the terraced rice paddy fields and will have the opportunity for a dip in the river before being picked up for transportation back to Sapa.
_ When you arrive in Sapa, you will have enough time to freshen up with a shower and have dinner in Restaurant before catching the bus back to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi.

DAY 4: HA NOI ARRIAVAL
_ You will arrive in Hanoi between 4:00am-6:30am at the Tran Quy Cap train station. Finish Sapa Hard Trek Tour 4 Days 3 Nights and see you again.

Sa Pa Intermediate Trek

2 days - 3 nights (Homestay : An authentic Sapa experience) 


Night 1: Be escorted to the railway station by Hanoi Grand Hotel staff for boarding the train to travel up Lao Cai city.

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa – Hill Tribe villages - Homestay (B/D)
5.00: Arrive at Lao Cai Train station in the early morning. Be picked up by your tour guide and taken an 01hr drive to Sapa for breakfast and morning shower in a local restaurant. Free time to visit Sapa town and market.
2.00pm: (4hr trekking) Visit Lao Chai Village – home of Black H’mong minority. Trekking through Muong Hoa Valley with many beautiful sceneries along the river, then reach Ta Van village to make friends with a Dzay family where your dinner and homestay are served here.

Night 2: Homestay at Dzay family

Day 2: Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa – Lao Cai station (B)
Wake up with the locals in the sound of pigs, chickens and the family dogs. The family is already on their feet preparing your breakfast. Farewell to the family and trek through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai - home of Red Dzao people.  Meet and talk to people to learn more about their daily life, customs and traditions. Pass over the Cau May (Rattan Bridge) then back to Sapa Town by private car. Free afternoon to discover Sa Pa town or shopping in the local market. 
16.30: Leave the town for Lao Cai train station. Dinner (on your own cost) and lounge in a local restaurant here then catch the night train back to Hanoi.


Night 3: Night train back to Hanoi

Day 3: Hanoi
The train arrives at Hanoi in the early morning, Hanoi Grand Hotel staff will pick you up, and escort you back to the hotel (optional).

Sa Pa Light Trek

 Day 1: Hanoi - Overnight train to Lao Cai
Transfer to Hanoi train station for your overnight train journey from Vietnam's capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The train departs at 21:15 pm. (transfer + transfer guide included, no meal)

Day 2: Lao Cai – Bac Ha Market– Sapa
Arrive early in Lao cai at 06 00 am, we get picked up and start our drive up to Bac Ha market. Arrive Bac Ha market. Discover the market with ethnic minorities (1h30). Lunch in Bac Ha town. Then we have a short walk to visit Ban Pho – a village of Flower Hmongs. (2 hours – 7 km), visit the H’Mong King Palace. (30min). Transfer back to Lao Cai then up to the spectacular Sapa pass, which is 1300 m high, 33 km long.  The ride uphill takes a little over an hour giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. O/N in hotel (B).

Day 3: Sapa
Breakfast at the hotel then we start trekking. The first part is on the road but we soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong village Lao Chai. After this you continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. We stay overnight with a local family in Ta Van and have our dinner here. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Sapa  - Train to Hanoi
After the breakfast we continue to visit Red Dao people at Giang Ta Chai where we also see a waterfall. The Red Dao women have very colorful red embroideries and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of the women have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice Red Zao’ Legend. We continue along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa River and trek up to Su pan where you will meet the jeep transfer back to Sapa then take the shuttle bus to Lao Cai train station for Overnight train back to Ha Noi. (B, L)

Day 5: Hanoi
Arrive Hanoi around 05 30 am. Make your way back to your hotel. Tour ends.
