Hang Trong (Drum) Cave

Posted by Hoàng Nguyên On 00:09 No comments

Hang Trong (Drum Cave) is so named because when the wind blows through its many stalactites and stalagmites, the effect resembles the sound of distant drumbeats.

Exactly which of the caves you visit is usually decided on the day you travel. It depends on several factors, including the weather and the number of other boats in the vicinity.

The waters here are quiet for swimming and there is a lot to explore by kayak.

Depending on conditions there are as many as five potential anchorage spots. Though Hang Trong is the most used, conditions may mean the vessel's captain opts for another site.
